Cross-country skiing in the Allgäu
Eglofs panoramic trail
Eglofs is part of the municipality of Argenbühl, which consists of six villages: Christazhofen, Eisenharz, Göttlishofen, Ratzenried, Siggen and Eglofs. The name of the climatic health resort of Argenbühl comes from the rivers Untere and Obere Argen, which border the municipality. “Bühl” is an old South German term for the hilly landscape of the West Allgäu.
In winter, this hilly landscape is transformed into a snow-covered winter wonderland, which you can explore while cross-country skiing in Eglofs. The network of cross-country trails stretches over a total of 40 km. Whether classic or skating, the Argenbühl trails allow both.
You can check which trails are open on the Argenbühl municipal website before you go cross-country skiing.
