Snowshoeing in the Allgäu
Quiet paths, wide views
When the snow is high and the paths are untouched, the time for snowshoeing begins. It doesn’t take much – just warm clothing, a bit of fitness and a desire for nature. And off you go, step by step through the white winter landscape.
You can set off on your first short tours directly from the hotel, for example across the fields around Eglofs or through the forest on the outskirts of the village. If you want to go higher, you will find beautiful routes on the Hündle or Hochgrat with views of the snow-covered Allgäu Alps.
Particularly beautiful: an ascent in the clear winter sun, when the snow glistens and there is only the blue sky above you.
